Description
Attractions
Space Shuttle Atlantis
There it is, just steps away: one of NASA's most incredible feats of engineering. A vehicle that took off like a rocket, orbited like a spaceship, and landed like a glider. A sight previously reserved only for astronauts on the International Space Station or on spacewalks—an unforgettable experience.
Shuttle Launch Experience
An extraordinary journey that simulates a vertical liftoff into space and orbit around the Earth aboard the Space Shuttle. Visitors, acting as crew members, experience an extremely realistic simulation, designed with the support of NASA and veteran Shuttle astronauts.
Apollo/Saturn V Center
Located a short bus ride away (included in the ticket), it houses a 110-meter (363-foot) long moon rocket. Don't miss the Firing Room Theater, which recreates an Apollo launch, and the Lunar Theater, which recounts the first moon landing. Get an up-close look at the real Apollo 14 command module "Kitty Hawk," a rare collection of prototype spacesuits, and original Apollo program artifacts.
Live shows and programs
IMAX® Film
The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is home to the only two side-by-side IMAX® theaters in the world, with screens over 5 stories tall:

Journey to Space: Celebrate the Space Shuttle program, the International Space Station, and their contributions to the technical and human knowledge that will carry humanity to asteroids, Mars, and beyond. - Eye on the Universe: The Hubble Space Telescope: A collection of spectacular Hubble images that tell the science of deep space exploration.
