ITINERARY

Oxford walking tour
Follow in the footsteps of famous Oxford students, from CS Lewis to Bill Clinton, as you stroll through the charming college grounds and narrow cobbled streets of this historic university city. See the famous 'dreaming spiers' and see the Bodleian Library, one of the oldest libraries in Europe, during your visit. You will be captivated by the untouched narrow alleyways and ancient squares of this city of natural beauty.

Christ Church
A delight for viewers of all ages, Christ Church is instantly recognizable as a prime location for the Harry Potter films! Marvel at the magical grandeur of the Great Hall, used as the setting for Hogwarts.

Cambridge
After leaving Oxford you will make your way to the beautiful city of Cambridge. It is here that you will visit the Senate House at the famous University of Cambridge. Previously used by the Senate Council for important meetings, it is now the venue of choice for student graduation ceremonies. You will be able to explore this special place and discover its important history before venturing into the Corpus Clock! Corpus Clock Visit the Corpus Clock, a unique invention outside the Taylor Library at Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge. Revealed to the world by Stephen Hawking, it is made with a 24K gold-plated stainless steel disc and has no numerals to indicate the time. Instead, it displays the time through lights that shine through individual slots. This must-have innovation will stay in your mind long after you're gone! Mathematical Bridge You will also see Cambridge's Mathematical Bridge during your layover. Designed by William Etheridge, it is almost 300 years old and has attracted visitors from all over the world. The design offers visitors an intriguing conundrum: it uses only straight beams but the arches of the bridge. It's a must see! King's College Chapel One of the highlights of the trip is visiting the exquisite King's College Chapel. Used as a symbol representing the city of Cambridge, the Chapel is a popular tourist attraction for people from all over the world. Taking a century to build, starting in 1446 at the request of Henry VI, King's College Chapel displays wonderful Gothic architecture and huge, lovely stained glass windows. With the largest fan vault in the world and famous Rubens artwork, there is much to learn and discover at the home of King's College Chapel Choir.
